How do I add techs to the game in such a way that I can see them there aren't any guides I can find and all my attempts to exactly copy from mods I download work. I can get it to appear in the civpedia without crashing but its invisible in the sci-advisor screen?? Can anyone please help me?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what you mean. HAve you added them to the correct era? When you add a tech they begin with no era selected, and are therefore not visible in the tech tree(and not researchable either.)

Ya I have. What I mean is that the game doesn't crash or anything and it gets listed in the civilopedia but I can't see it in the advisor screen or research it.

do you have x and y co-ordinates set? and that they aren't the same as another tech already there?

Yes I just put in 400-400 to test it though so it probably overlapps several is that my problem?

btw this is C3C

it might be hiding behind some other techs in that spot.

Well I should be able to see part of it sticking out then right? I'll try moving it later.
