Hey. Im trying to make a small mod, mostly for myself that would make it so that time started going in months starting at the 1900s. Also, the mod would make it so that technology and buildings would take as long to achieve as they would in marathon, but units would only take as long as they would in normal time. Any help that could be offered? Thanks!

you can change all values in the CIV4HandicapInfo.xml
just pick the handicap level (settler/noble/prince/etc) that you modded
you can change the buildings percentage separate from the units percentage (see taglines in that file)
100 = 100% (I Think 100% is the Noble setting)
Any value less than 100 it is easier (shorter) to build
Anything greater 100 is harder (longer) to build
You can change AI and Human player rates here
REMEMBER to copy the orginal files and edit the COPY! :)

thats for scenarios you change the years to seasons months weeks or days

Im not sure.... I suggest examining the XML files in that mod...
But I have a suspicion its a python/SDK thing and I dont know how to code that :sad:
