While not a problem, is it possible to select which Civ. color you play with instead of the ramdom choice you seem to get ?

Thanks:)

Not a TS issue. Thread moved to Creation & Customization.

It's actually not random. Each civ has two colors that are assigned to it, and if one color is taken it's supposed to revert to the other color.

Although this sometimes causes two different civs to have the same color.

Don't remember exactly how to change it, but I believe it's in the editor, under Civilizations. Pick the colors you want from the drop box.

You never get a random color.

Every civ has a default color and a(nother color, forgot it's name). Just go in the editor, click "Custom Rules" from the Scenario Properties window, go to Rules -> Edit Rules, go to the "Civilizations" tab, then modify the color of any civ you want. You'll see a dropdown menu at the bottom of the Civilizations tab.

In my current game, Mongols and Dutch have same colour, I always think the Dutch are the Mongols now...:crazyeye:

Conveniently, there are 32 colors for 32 civs (counting barbs) so you can give each civ a unique color if you want. If you don't like the various shades of pink etc, check out Rhye's alternate civ colors (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=85016).
