I have a high-speed cable internet connection, and my friend is using Dial-up. Creating a new game is fine, but if one of us has to leave and start playing later with a save, it takes a very long time for him to download the game data. Sometimes he gets completely disconnected as well.
I have noticed that when he tries to get the game data, I am uploading at above 100kb/s, with no other internet applications running. I am thinking that I am effectively flooding him with data, so he gets disconnected.
His network setting is Modem, and mine is set at Broadband. We have played around with these settings and they don't seem to do anything.
Does anyone know any ways to help me slow down the connection, so that we can play saved games?
Thanks
