I'm relatively new to WH (I started out a year or so ago playing the Civ3 mod), and am now on to make vehicles for the civ4 version you all have put so much time in to. That said, I'm going to use this thread to post any previews/completed units so you can tell me when I'm doing something wrong. I have very little knowledge of the WH world, so I'm going to rely on you all to help me get things right.

As for what I'm capable of? Below is a picture of my most recent units that I've been creating for a mod I'm making. Only 2 of them have been released before (#4&8). I only show this as a sort of credential. I also modeler/animater the steam tank which Ploeperpengel and Sezereth skinned.

I would like to start working on some ships for the mod, but don't know of any that would be appropriate. As soon as I get info on them, I'll start work.

First of all. Welcome Smitty! I'm glad to have you on board.:)
The model looks well done already. As I said in my initial request a small figure in the cockpit would be nice. You can keep it simple with a rotating head(or just a simpleball) that can be easily replaced in the nifviewer(for this it should be a seperate attachment) with an appropiate dwarven head.
The gyrochopter will be a nice addition to the mod:)

I will search for some pics for Warhammershipmodels. The ships in civ3 are well done so anything similar would fit as well.

btw that clipper might find a place in the mod as well;) where can I get it?

Are there any of those specifically that I should do first? The dwarf ships look like they'd be fairly straight forward and fun, but I don't know if you've added the dwarfs yet (I looked through v0.65 last night, it's f'in amazing). Either that or some of the elven ships (Like this one (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=81948)). This pictures in the .zip should be good enough to get the models/animations done. I'll do my best on the textures, but you might one someone more familiar w/ the disigns (flags, colors, etc) to go over them before release.

As for using the clipper ship... Right now I was planning to release it in an upcoming modern warfare mod I'm working on (a couple weeks at least). It has some animation issues at the moment, but I should be able to get it to you in a couple days if you'd like it.

Do whatever you like to do. At the end we need them all and in no particular order. All civs will remain with generic ships until we can replace them with a new model. Yes and aaglos ships are nice to start of with as well.

The clipper I maybe can use for a late era bretonian, tilean or imperial ship. Not sure yet. Also nice if you like to do them are any ships that fit to the generic civs like Ind, araby etc. The human cultures that aren't supported by WH and where there aren't any pics from WH for are still full valuable civs in the mod. So anything asian, indian, egypt, rome/italian, spanish style can have a place here as well.
Also you don't need to fully stick to the pics- take your artistic freedom;)
Where you feel a skin needs improvement don't worry we can allways give it a polish(allthough this may take time since I'm totally consumed by xml work-if I ever find the time I'll probably polish up the steamtank again i.e. but well still thousands of xml lines to be altered:().

And the best of it you can just remove one of the boats and only use a single tower and we have the Hawkship as well:)
