Does anyone else have this problem: My fighters in my games are usually unable to bombard city defenses and tile improvements. I also sometimes have problem attacking units within a tile or city.

Does anyone know how to fix this glitch? I'm unable to play an exciting game any further unless my huge carrier task forces are able to carry out fighter attacks against city defenses and units. :lol:

NO BUG! My fault for being dumb. I had not declared war and I was assuming that if I bombed them, war would be declared.

I have noticed this though: I am playing Catherine and my UI is cossack. Well, once I got ROCKETRY, all my cossack's being built are now Gunships.

I am playing archipelago so that really sucks! Gunships cannot capture cities while my cossacks were/are doing a great job capturing cities. I cannot even build another cossack in any other city now. I think this needs to be changed.

If this is a part of the game I do not know about, please let me know. I've never seen my immortals impossible to build. Thank you.

Well, this is how it works. Once you discover a tech that obsoletes a unit, you can no longer produce it. Cavalry upgrades to gunships, bummer. There might be a chance that disconnecting a resource required to build gunships will allow you to produce Cossacks again.. MAYBE.

Thanks crunch. Another lesson learned. Plan ahead for those islands.
