I have made a Golem model with differents skins.

I Know there are a problem in the skin in the back but it's mainly visible with the SkinGolem and the SkinGolem won't be used for what I created the Golem, so I may rework on his skin later but not for now. This problem is less visible on the others skins.

NOTE : Texture are pretty high resolution, I forgot to reduce it so it maybe a good choice to reduce the size of the texture if you want to avoid some lags.

They look really nice. For the textures using dxt 1 compression might be a good idea if you don't use greys in the alphachannel. Finally some golems that really look like it.:)

Edit: and yes I very likely will resize them as well:D

By resizing to 256x256 and compressing to dxt 1 without mipmaps the texturesize drops from 1366KB to 33 KB without loosing to much noticeable detail. Any idea what causes that strange transperancy in the viewer?

When I move the model around in the viewer it seems faces of the mesh blink out to transperancy I thought this was the problem with the skin you mentioned. I didn't test the model in game yet so I don't know if this may cause trouble there.

Well, In Civ4 there are no problem. I Think it's because the texture is to big and the viewer have problem with biggest files.

No can't be, it happens with the resized texture as well.
