Okay, this will sound fishy but I'm no warez kind of guy. I even buy music.

Anyways I bought the collectors edition of Civ 4 and I have everything but my CD's, which stupidly were not in the box, were ruined. So my question is are there any suggestions for getting replacements? Whats the policy on that kind of thing?

I would recommend checking the licensing agreement for warranty terms. For some games, they have a policy that if you return the broken CD with proof of purchase and your unique CD-key (back of the case), they will get you a new one in 4-6 weeks.

You can email Take2 and see if you can get a replacement. (they might ask you to send them your broken CD).

Unfortunately, I think you are largely out-of-luck. If you can show 2K:

1.) Proof of purchase and
2.) The remains of your damaged disks

then you may have a chance of getting a replacement disk at-cost.

My wife threw away the remains, so I guess I'm out of luck. I told her not to throw them away but she "forgot". :(

totally I sent my Civ 3 a year after I bought it and they returned me a new one because my original was cracked from playing too much...took like a week. just go on the Civ site

i sent an e-mail to take2 and they didn't even reply...
