First off a big hello to all you in Civ land. I'm fairly new to the onling civ world but have been playing Civ from Civ 2 onwards.

I desided to run a story of a game that I'm having with Ragnar the Viking. As he is one of the new leaders in Warlords. I relally am doing this in reply to the Al Gore Challenge in another Thread, which I loved, so it's all jerVL/kg's fault!

I'll try to add a bit of humour as i go, but the first stages (up until i go to war) will be more of a run through on the game.

In this game I will hopefully test out the strengths of the Vikings, and introduce myself to the civ community.

I have chosen the following settings:

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Settings.jpg

I hope they will be interesting. I think I have only played Islands once before, as I usually play Pangaea or Conti. The Difficulty is Monarch and there are 6 AI.

Now a little about Ragnar and the mighty Vikings.

Aggressive – Free ‘combat 1’ promotion, double production of Barracks and Drydock.

Financial - +1 commerce for each tile producing 2 or more commerce already.

UB - Trading Post, replaces Lighthouse.
Free ‘navigation 1’ Promotion on top of usual lighthouse effects.

UU - Beserker, replaces Maceman.
Free ‘Amphibious’ promotion and +10% City Attack on top of usual Macemen attributes.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Civ_info.jpg

So the Vikes are really geared up for an invasion from the sea. I almost think that the developers missed a trick with the Viking UU, I think it should have been a Longboat to replace the Caraval. With Carry space equal to the Galleon. Meaning for earlier ‘across sea’ invasion rather than bee-lining for CS and then Astro.
The tactic for my game will be to establish 4-5 cities, with hopefully 3 – all of these on the coast. Build up a good econ and then Bee-line for Beserker’s and then Astro and then some warmongering fun!

4000 BC
Starting location:

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Starting_Loc.jpg

Holy cow Batman! I never, repeat NEVER start with marble.
Well this is defiantly interesting, Sheep and spice too, with plenty of forest to chop, and a costal city. I’ll settle where I am thank you very much.

Now this is very interesting, I was only originally planning on The Great Lighthouse and Colossus wonders, but with marble, the Temple of Artemis and The Oracle are defiantly ‘shootable’ too.

My plan (like all my games) is to get bronze working quickly. With the Vikes however I will need Mining first. But that is actually ok, because I will get Masonry before BW to hook up the Marble. (Should have the quarry online as BW comes in)

I will also need AH fairly soon, and obviously Polytheism for the ToA.

My prediction of tech order is as follows:
(Spoilers are for wide pics)

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Tech_tree_01.jpg

Mining – Masonry – Bronze Working – Mysticism – Polytheism – Animal Husbandry – Sailing.

Now I may put in Priesthood between Poly and AH if I feel lucky with the oracle, Then I can nab Metal Casting as the free tech and have a first shot at the colossus (hope I get bronze too).

-note after the fact- I’ll actually get the Wheel after BW, forgot that! D’oh!

My build order is Warrior – Warrior – Worker – Settler – Settler – Worker – Wonder for my capital (as I started with scout), for my 2nd city it will be warrior – monument - work boat – settler – wonder.
I quickly explored my island, my scout died a pathetic death to a lion, but all the fog is now uncovered. City locations are a little lame I think. The desert in the middle is really annoying. But I have picked out 4 extra city locations.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Main_Island_City_Loc.jpg

The red dots are my proposed city locations.
(Clockwise from capital)
The top city will be lame on production (unless there is copper/iron on the desert) But should have enough with the Gold (2) and Cow (3) and base (1) in the city radius. The food will come from the sea. There is also a small grass island above it, which I’ll cottage when I get round to it. Overall this will be my commerce city.

The next city has ivory and Fish. With a Desert Hill. So this also is quite Bad on Production, So I’ll leave some forest up (2).

The next city Has sheep and Fish. With a Plains Hill and Grassland Hill, this should have ample production for my Beserkers and Galleons.

The Final city (but the one I will build first) has Sheep and Crab. With 2 Desert Hills, 2 Tundra Hills and a Grassland Hill this should be my production powerhouse. However I’m not sure how it will work out for food. But the 2 food bonus’ should help out there.

All in all I think this will be ok, with 4 ‘Health’ and 3 ‘Happy’ resources, and 2 Sheep, 1 Fish and 1 Ivory for trade.
I don’t see my cities getting much over 10 population. So this should be plenty with the Harbour and Aqueduct / Forge buildings.

2650 BC – BW comes in, time to chop. Also Found Bronze by Nidaros on the Plains hill.

2260 BC – A barbarian warrior thinks he’s cool by lurking about near where I will build Uppsala. I pity the fool. He tries to attack my combat 1 Warrior in the forest.
My now combat 2 warrior wonders what gave him the scratch.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Barb_Warrioir_Threat.jpg

2110 BC – Mysticism comes in, and I found Uppsala.

1720 BC – A barbarian Archer starts to lurk outside my boarders. PANIC TIME! With only 2 warriors as defenders, this guy could easily smoke a city. Luckily for me he wants to lure me over to the other side of the map. Think he’s running between two points for a few hundred years to see if he gets any faster. Must be in training for the marathon or something. No fella, this is Viking land, not friggin’ Greece! Go bug Alex, he’ll love that.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Barb_Archer.jpg

1600 BC – Priesthood. Now for the econ techs. AH is a must with those sheep needing their pens last Millennia.

1510 BC – Now my pic editing skills let me down earlier with the placement of my top city. The location is actually better than I thought, with the top only being two desert tiles not three. I settle and found Haithabu (nice name!)

(oops! could an admin correct the spelling in the title please? )

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Settling_City_3.jpg

As soon as I settle Haithabu, I send my top warrior to the Forest, and see that barb archer that was floating about before, I send the other warrior there too, and hope the def bonus will save them, if not that archer will be weak, and the other guy can mop up.
I should have bronze on soon, and a few axe’s will go down a treat I feel.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Dave_the_warrior.jpg

My first warrior couldn’t stand the heat, but my second managed to win with odds of 67%. So ‘Dave’ now earns my respect and will be my great general when I get my first GW.

1240 BC – Animal Husbandry, time to get those sheep hooked up (about time too). The Welsh will be pleased J.

1180 BC – Stonehenge built in a faraway land! – Well you can have it, I don’t need it!

1000 BC – Pottery.

985 BC – Some guy thinks it would be fun to rub some salt in, apparently I am the Smallest Civ, hopeless he calls me…. Well when I have finished conquering the world, I’ll look up this Toynbee character and ‘have a little chat’ in the way all good despots should!

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Toynbee.jpg

970 BC – Sheep in capital finished and the oracle is 3 turns away!

The next turn, I switched a tile in the capital from a forest to the copper, so it shaved a turn off the time.

940 BC – Oracle founded! And I took Metal Casting thank you very much! I bet if Toynbee’s friend, the one that loves to determine the extent of your ‘advancement’ in the game, did his thing now I’d be top. How it changes, OH HOW IT CHANGES!
Went for a forge in the capital before ToA.

850 BC – Sailing in, Agriculture – Iron Working – Writing to follow.

805 BC – Haithabu boarders expanded (from Monument), So now I can work on those cows and get the pop up and running. I make Trading Post’s in my Cities (except capital).

790 BC – Tragedy! Unhappy civ’s in Uppsala! Time to switch to slavery and get the whip out. I whipped the Axeman, but still unhappy, until he poped out. Guess its time for some military in my cities. I recall my Warriors from their de-fogging to the cities and will be sending out my axe’s in replacement.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Axemen_1.jpg

“Hey Bob, you see it? YOU SEE IT? Look how big it is!”

“Mine is just as big mate, bigger infact…”

“… you used it on that Elephant yet Bob?”

“….. I hope a barb chariot comes for you…”

“HA HA joke on you! Barbs don’t get chariots!”

“Whats that over there then?” (pointing)

“Hu!?!”

“Ha Ha, made you look!”

745 BC – Agriculture

655 BC – Forge completed in the capital, ToA started.

640 BC – Plato (GS) born in a far away land. Madness!

Whipped Trading post and FB in Uppsala, civ’s didn’t like it much, but who gives a smeg. Forge should deal with unhappy soon enough.

445 BC – Iron working. Iron just outside Uppsala’s Fat Cross. Also notice Horse too. Rethinking City Placements…

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Iron_and_Horse.jpg

Now my Beserkers only need Copper. So I may just wait until Uppsala expands for the iron, and horse is not in my plans anyway. But will be within My next city’s boundry. So lack of Production that I feared should be ok now.

370 BC – ToA Completed! Problem is that Conficism is founded in a distant land (Code of Law) and that’s my next tech. Also the Great Lighthouse is built far way, this sucks, as ToA/GL is a good combination. I’m now also building a Galley so that I can hopefully find some innocent sucker to conquer without needing Astro.

325 BC – Writing.

265 BC – Galley, started Colossus. 12 turns but stagnant growth (using sheep, Spice, copper and marble tiles)

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Capital_Colossus_Prod.jpg

Also I note that I will get a Great Prophet in 4 turns, Light-Bulbing will give Meditation so he will be added to the City.

Also at about this time a barb warrior pokes his little head in….

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Axeman_vs_Barb_warrior.jpg

…. I don’t think I need to tell you the rest.

235 BC – I guess Toynbee got scared off by what I said earlier, he got his friend Gibbon to do it this time. Sorry this is Human Civilisation! Not monkey world! What the f*** does a chimp know? – Yet another fella that I’ll be having ‘words’ with later on I feel.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Gibbon_history.jpg

220 BC – The GP popped, don’t want meditation, don’t have a religion, and can’t wait for Golden Age, so I Go for Speciallist. Takes one turn off colossus. But more importantly I can put Science to 100% and still be making 1 GPT. COL in 13 turns.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Great_Prophet_1.jpg

And my Galley found a target. However I will have to wait until that cities boarders expand, or I get +1 visibility over water, to see who it is.
Running a spread bet on Bismark, I always get Bismark.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/First_contact.jpg

190 BC – Pyramids are built in a far-away land. Interesting that they are so late.

100 BC – Colossus built in capital (wee)

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Colossus.jpg

55 BC – Settler Built in Uppsala, next one will be last one I make for this island.

25 BC – Birka founded, set to build monument.
The placement of this city is something I thought about (well, for about 30 secs, which is quite long for me). The Comp said that the red dot location would be best. And I agree for a part, it has fresh water, Iron, Horse and Ivory in its Boarders. However this would not be on the coast, and I’ll give up the iron for the extra Fish I get 2N 1E of the city.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Birka_placement.jpg

95 AD – Time to take stock of what I have done so far. I have 4 cities up (5th settler 2 turns away), Mathematics is 1 turn away. I WILL need astronomy to invaid other civs, hopefuls by that time my Beserkers wont be obsolete!
My wonders include Oracle, ToA, Colossus and I’m thinking about Great Library (Alpha – Lit after Maths).
I have identified one other civ to the west, however no contact as of yet.

The next 400 years went by, the Mighty Viking Empire Expanded, Grew and became more learned. In 110 AD Mathematics was discovered, with the new technology came new rewards, and the glorious capital set to work on the Hanging Gardens Wonder. The new city of Bjarguin was founded in 170 AD, with this bought the quest for taming the mother-country to an end. With all the land used up, the Viking empire set out for new horizons.
To help with the new phase of the Empire, more Emphasis at home was needed. Granaries, Libraries, Harbours and Trading Posts were established in each city to maximise the productivity and welfare of this glorious land.
We come now from the year 500 AD, and the Vikings are wide eyed and eager to learn…

515 AD – Yup, he’s back! The one and only Toynbee! Friend of the chimp, ignorant in all things civ. But wait, what does he tell us today?

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Toynbee_2.jpg

Average Culture. Well I’d expect no less with all the wonders I see before me. Not sure what to make of this at the moment. Guess Toynbee is having fun, switching from Population to culture… Maybe I am no longer bottom in pop! (yeah right!)

650 AD – Start gearing up for war, Barracks building in every city. We await the discovery of Civil Service and our purpose will soon become clear. Muahahahaha! *cough*

680 AD – The discovery of Machinery. To follow up, Optics, Civil Service, Calendar and Astronomy.

770 AD – Viking’s living on the edge of the known world reveal a great civilisation out there which has constructed the Notre Dame Wonder. This means Music (and a free Great Artist).

800 AD – Great news, Hanging Gardens Completed! The civ’s in the Viking Empire decide to celebrate and many, many, more little civs emerge, the population is swelling now.

950 AD – Following the discovery of optics, Caravals have been commissioned to take brave Vikings on voyages to new worlds. New Civilisations, to boldly go where nobody has been …. *cough* *cough* (hits head on desk).

965 AD – Things really start hotting up now. With caravals comes diplomacy, lets see how backwards the Vikings really are, and what can be done about it.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Frederick.jpg

“Hey Fred, how’s tricks? Didn’t I just spank you in my last game? Oh you remember…”

Now Fred has this superiority complex, he has a lead of 170 points, with about 5 or 6 tech advantage. Happily he has only just met me, so doesn’t know I’m a complete git quite yet. Soon Fred, real soon.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/German_Land_1.jpg

Caravals explore some more, and in 1055 AD another civilisation is contacted.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Hatty.jpg

“Ah Hatty, how’s it going? What was that? You want ME to come over and ‘talk’ about diplomacy… well what interests me doesn’t involve you being able to talk, if you get my meaning.”

Hatty has had it better also, only 130 point lead this time, but still with 5 – 6 tech’s. Seems like she is being a bit of a slut with Fred. (omg – what ugly babies that would make!)

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Egypt_Land_.jpg

However one aweman and one archer will be no match for my Viking power.

I desided to deal with Hatty, as she didn’t know metal casting yet (surprised at that!) so I got some gold, and 3 lesser techs for it.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Trade_Hatty_1.jpg

I figured she would get it soon anyway and at least I’ll be able to get a better tech when my next GP pop’s out.

1106 AD – Who is this ugly git?

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Cyrus.jpg

“Ah Cyrus, in my may years (about 5106 now) I have never been able to grow such a fine beard as you so elegantly display on your chinny chin chin. What is your secret? Camel dung perhaps?”

Yet again we have another civ above me. This is getting to be repetitive. I’m getting stressed. A little bloodshed (and soon) will alleviate the matter.

Same turn I get a nasty shock…

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Brennus.jpg

“Ah Brenny …. My you look serious today! ….. Stay back, don’t touch me with that thing!”

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Tokugawa.jpg

“Greetings Tokugawa, how nice to meet you! (actually not, I HATE this guy, but you gotta keep up the appearances) seems like you already have your supply of hair gel. But I never knew you could use it on your moustache to…”

And in 1118 AD the Viking nation discovered the last Civilisation… Oh and these guys are going down first…. Well maybe after the germans….

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Louis_XVI.jpg

“Nice hair Louis, and your parents were really original with your name…(the best looking Frenchman I ever saw)”

Now the tech trading, I was a little backwards. Well ok, I was they guy that got held back a year at school… or maybe two.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Trade_Hatty_2.jpg

Nice little trade with Hatty there. (She likes me that’s why *kiss*)

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Trade_Cyrus_1.jpg

Not too bad, a little on the expensive side, but I need the techs.

There were a few more but I forgot to take a pic. The problem with some of these trades ment that some guy started not to like me (I don’t know why)

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/Foreign_Advisor_1.jpg

Now the thing to notice now is that Japan has not met anyone yet. And Louis has only met Hatty and Cyrus. Soon to change no doubt, but the funny thing is that Tokugawa really doesn’t seem to like me (I don’t hold out much hope for the rest of them).

I’m defiantly last at the moment. Some Graphs and Demographic pics.
Looks like Louis is our runaway Cultural leader. While I’m last on all parts, not many have power too much more than me, so I need to get my military built up and go hit Germany.

First a look at the rankings,

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/01_Rankings.jpg

Bottom by a mile, but should soon change. Louis looks like the man to get next, but I’m sure that my Berserkers will be obsolete by the time I get to him.

Talk of the devil, the ugly man has some demands for me.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/02_Louis_Demands.jpg

Louis and the ‘face like a smacked arse’ pose.

Well I thought 150 isn’t too bad, and a few turns later he offered world map trades so he’s helping his own downfall, fine by me.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/03_Spy_in_german_lands.jpg

Scouting the German cities in preperation for invasion, I see that they are not very well defended with units (but probably have a few more in the capital). The Amphibious promotion means there is no penalty to attacking from the sea, but with 65% defence bonus anyway, I would need more than one galleon full of Beserkers to take the city from the sea (probably 5-6 units). And I don’t like throwing units away like that. So landing with catapults and treb’s is on the cards.
Note – I think this Promotion would be good in a ‘all human’ game, as many times humans put a defender on each coast tile, or also against a new city with lower defence percentage.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/04_CS_Beserkers.jpg

Ok, production in cities goes militaristic, with Barracks built a few turns before, cities start pumping out Berserkers in the anticipation of researching astronomy.
I managed to pump out about 20 berserkers and a few galleys (to upgrade to galleons) in that time.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/05_Foreign_Advisor.jpg

A quick check to see my appeal to other leaders. Only Cyrus and Hatty like me, Tokugawa still doesn’t know of anyone else.
I also look to see what Fred’s relationships are like, and whoopee! Nobody likes him. I shouldn’t get too much of a negative impact on my ratings with the others.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/06_Foreign_Advisor_Germany_.jpg

Hatty comes up with an offer, quite tempting, but I wait and see what others could give me. You should never agree to a trade on the AI’s turn, always wait for your turn, otherwise they may trade with other AI’s, and you lose out on other techs if you didn’t trade ‘one tech for all’, where you trade your new tech with all the other civs for all the ones they have and you don’t. IMO this makes civ quite easy, you just bee-line a tech that no has and swap it for all the ‘lesser’ techs.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/07_Hatty_Trade.jpg

National epic in the Capital, bit of a must really, along with heroic, doesn’t cost much and really benefits you in a long game.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/08_National_Epic.jpg

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/09_Louis_map_trade.jpg

Louis’ trade I mentioned earlier, this also helped me as I popped a great Merchant. Can’t remember what tech I would have got, but in the early game, or early ish, when you can’t have 100% research and be in profit, they are really good at giving you over 50 turns worth of 100% research gold (ie: the gold you would be loosing), This is magnified with the distance, and if the city is on another continent, so my new map from France shows Paris a likely contender, and I am not disappointed with 2250 gold. This is massive with astro still a few turns away (think I shaved about 3 turns in all from my 60 or 70 percent rate.
Also now I know why Louis has a massive score, pop 15 capital (and all others over 10) means an inflated score. Guess he was lucky with a more food bonus rich location (lol, obviously, it’s the way the game works on the higher difficulties).

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/10_Trade_Mission.jpg

After astro comes in, I upgrade my galleys (nice trade mission, real nice) and make a few more galleons. I have 6-7 in all. Ferry service soon online!

Before I go to war, I trade with Fred.
Why may you ask? Well I am quite confident I will end up taking all his cities, and he has nice techs (eng especially). Also astro doesn’t really give him any advantage militarly, as I have enough galleons anyway, and I’ll attack this turn so he shouldn’t have upgraded yet. He also has guilds, so taking his horse supply will be priority number one.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/11_Germany_Trade.jpg

Quick look to see what others think about him, just in case someone else will get annoyed with me, looks like not so here we go!

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/12_Germany_Relations.jpg

For the assault, I stack a few galleons outside his boarders ready to land in one turn and take out any caravals he has. Notice that the AI is thick, so won’t usually see this as an invasion tactic. Not that he can do much, well maybe stack some Caravals and take out one, but AI wont attack you like that if their not pissed off with you.

(Spoiler for size)

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/13_Invasion_begins.jpg

Invasion starts, I land some Berserkers on the land linking Cologne with the mainland, unfortunately I am a little bit unprepared, and only have a few catapults and decide to land them by Berlin instead. I’ll just cut off Cologne Until I get a few trebs out. As I said before, the amphibiouse promo is ok, but not good vs 65% defence cities. I actually think this is quite realistic, as historically the Vikings were raiders, taking villages and small towns, not the cities and strongholds. (well this was what happened in Britain anyway)
I take out a few caravals easily with my galleons, I really like the boat animations and fighting in civ 4. Looks good.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/14_War_at_sea.jpg

Not sure if that is ‘Greek Fire’ coming out of the Galleon, think it’s just the caraval going down.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/15_Attacking_Berlin.jpg

I land near Berlin, spread out, and pummel the defences with my catapults. When the defences are down to 8%, I attack. I usually wait for +70% odds to attack, as keeping as many highly promoted units as possible is preferable so I could use them again, against either another German City, or say, Japan.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/16_Taking_Berlin.jpg

Needless to say Berlin was a cake-walk. 167 gold, not much but I’ll take it, and the City, obviously. Somewhere to heal my troops quickly for one thing.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/17_Waiting_for_Cologne.jpg

AS I said before, I like odds of over 70% when I attack, anyway 16% is way too low even for a ‘risky’ fight. I will have to wait until I get some siege over there. Shouldn’t be too hard after that, longbows are ok and all, but I think Crossbows are great, they defiantly take care of macemen anyway. I’ll have to destroy the defences by 60% to get good odds.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/18_Rankings.jpg

Oh how things change, building up a military and taking just one city (albeit the capital, no wonders though). Lets not get too carried away though, still far behind, and most civs will be getting knights soon.

Also a note on the civics front, as I got astro, I changed to Vassalage. Note I don’t bother with Theocracy. For two reasons, one – I don’t actually have religion (duh) but more importantly, two – I don’t like the extra cost at NOT gaining a level (Barracks + Vass = 5 XP) in units. (I would usually be/stay Organised Religion)

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/19_Civics.jpg

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/20_Treasury.jpg

Also a note on my income, vastly in the red (losing 43 gpt), but the sacking of cities (Berlin got me about 4 turns) and the trade mission means this is ok for now (I would say loss is ok up until you get to below 100 gold, as you may always want a quick upgrade on a unit.)

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/21_Foreign_Advisor.jpg

I also take a note at what attacking Fred actually did to my reputation. Odd enough, it made Louis pleased, and Hatty/Cyrus cautious. (they were pleased before)

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101529/22_Techs_Rankings.jpg

Tech’s are not looking overly bad now also, Guilds in 5 turns, and then only paper and Philosophy I’ll be down on (I’ll go another, more warlike path I think)

I also station troops near Dortmund, again will need to wait for siege, but my cities are now building treb’s. Oh yes did I say? I LOVE TREB’S !!!!

Fred looks like he pooped his pants. You should give him a break.... or some clean clothes.
