hello im new . but i have a great idea for a scenario. harry turtldove's ww2 series. its is about the confederates wining the civil war and goes on to ww1. were they are on the allied side. they lose. turn to fascism under jake featherston and bomb philidiaphia starting the north american front. i think to make some units i could just reskin some stuff. but some might need their own models. anybody willing to help? any good programs for this kinda stuff?

il put down some of the civs for the game here.

Western Axis:
C.S.A: Ruled by freedom party, (huge resemblence to the nazis) presdent Jake Featherston
Mexico: ruled by emperor maximillian
France: France's goverment is a mix of monarchy and fascism. King Charles XI
Britian: conservative party goes fascist. winston churchill
Japan: ruled by hirohito

Allies:
U.S.A: ruled by socialist president Al Smith
Germany: Kasier Whilhelm IV

You know, i read some of the turtledove stuff on WW2 being invaded by lizard aliens. i read a couple of those. Turtledove's alternate histories are alot of fun. If you are interested in a turtledove alternate history mod, feel free to use anything you need out of second revolution. also, take a peek into the "Assets" folder of civilization and see what kind of things you will be looking at
hint: .XML files should be opened with notepad, or and xml editor. :goodjob:

for skins : GIMP 2.0
the plugin: GIMP DDS PLUGIN

That will open the various texture files (.dds)

Or use Nvideas DDS convertor. Converts into any graphic programs format and use your fav graphic editor. :)
