After installing a mod, I was forced to un-install the game and re-install.

Now some of the textdisplays a long form, like Text_Key_MainMenu_ChineseLeader (or something like that) instead of Mao. Or another like Text_Key_Custom_Scenarios in a gamestarting menu.

Also, there is no go-to option for roadbuilding. I just have to move the one square and then I get an option to build a road on that square.

What's my problem here? I've already tried yet another re-install.

After a reinstall, you probably need to delete the folders that the game was installed into, to clear out any garbage before you reinstall.
