View Full Version : Warlords easier than Plain Civ4 for Domination Victory?

Before, I had never gotten a domination victory on Prince level, but when I changed to Warlords, I've gotten three straight domination victories, and all of them had me ranking on the top as A. Caesar. I usually always play as Gandhi. I find that the fast worker, since it has the extra move, is useful for the entire time in the game and not just a limited time period like all other UU's. Yeah, chopping got nerfed but I still like to play Gandhi. No dead period during revolutions, and a good kick on getting religions before the others do.

Also, does it seem easier when you have a LOT of civs at the start, or just a few of them? Seems to me it's easier when there's a bunch of them, as long as you don't start in the middle of the map!

Guess it's time to move up to the next difficulty level.

Oh, Warlords works a bit better than the plain civ 4 on my Win98 system. Still the occasional CTD if the session has been going on a LONG time, and the movies still stutter, but overall I'm happy with it.

( Edited to fix spelling errors. Arrgh! )

well for me dominqtion is easier because half of a vassals land and population counts toward yours when it is counted
