has fanatica been used before? i wouldn't want to be a repeat. but if it's original, i say it's a great name. gives tribute to this hall of fanatics we dwell in.

The Roman's have taken an early lead in that poll, and they could provide us with many options along the lines already being discussed.

Great, the shield is perfect... the symbols on it are perfect, the The motto is also perfect, and the name Phoenatica is also perfect.

The symbols within the shield could even be symbolizing three of the main factors in civ, Growth, Production and Commerce!

Let me make a Flag with that shield and everything should be even more perfect.

Now only if I could understand Latin...

But, I was thinking (here I go making things harder than they have to be! hehe), but maybe we could change our flag based on our surronding/situation. (i.e., if the civ goes into a war-like despotism, it might have one style design versus a peaceful despotism).

We should also make our own culture. For starters, what the objects in the flag mean to us:

The tree (isn't that graphic from the Might and Magic series?) and (bird?) - Homeland
The mace/club - Our leader
The (shopping bag???) - ??
The fish - Navy
The blue shield - Water dominion (thus the navy. :))
The red background -
The white stripes -

BTW, what did you use to make that flag? Adobe?

The red could be symbolic of the blood of our nomadic ancestors who defended their people from rival groups and helped build and defend the first cities of our empire.

How about which coutnry will we rename?

And about flags, how about a different one for eachregime, or changing it with the new govenrment some tiems. I mean, there arediffrent flags udenr Moanrchy, under Rpeublic, udner Communism, etc...
