Just a quick comment… I think way too much is being made of this “anarchist” vs. “structured/democratic” style. I suspect most teams will have at most 6-8 active players even if there are eventually more signups than that. With that few people, I don’t think there is really much practical difference no matter what you call it.

Perfection was not spamming but accepting an invitation from me, albeit in his own way (but what was to be expected?). I've pm'd him about getting it right, but maybe he's too occupied making "friends" in OT.

I think I'd like to join a team (team council if I have a choice, just because it sounds better to me), but do you guys ever play medium, large or enormous maps? And do you always play pangaea ones?

What sort of maps/games do you guys play? I'm VERY particular about the types of games I play e.g. I'd rather not play a custom map/scenario I think is boring

I have a few custom maps I made, including a 4 continent medium map with about 50% land (at least 3 continents are very good, and resources are not crazily abundant)

Actually, I had a look...I'd like to join team SABER if it's worth my while joining.

flyingkitty, I'll place you on Team SABER as requested. See post #1 in this thread for instructions on how to get access to their private forum. Now to answer your other questions.

As you can tell from the name of this forum, this is the second game. If you want to read the first forum to get an idea of what goes on and take a look at the teams' forums, you can see it here (http://forums.civfanatics.com/forumdisplay.php?f=149). There's some cool threads in the main forum, including one with the .biq file posted once the game was completed, viewable here (http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/30239/CFC_MTDG.zip) (it was two large continents).

As for this game, you can view our checklist (showing the settings of this game) here (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=191980). The map is "Rik-made random", meaning that it was made by Rik Meleet, our superb moderator here (who has great experience with map making), and that teams have no prior knowledge of what the map will look like with regards to any setting.

Would like to join a team.

I play mostly multiplayer over at civplayers, where I am an admin. But in my sparetime I enjoy these team pbems, as our team is basically dead in the ISDG I figured I would join here.

I don't have any preferences as for team choice.
