Hi i am impressed with many of the changes you made to the core gameplay to make them more balanced.
I can agree with most of them such as toning down state property and making caste system more useful, but i just find some things very unbalanced.
Industrious civs with the bonus they have now are just overwhelming in the early game. I think just +1 hammer on tiles with 4 instead of 3 would be enough.
As it as now. Every mine produces an extra hammer for industrious civs and thats just undeniably too strong early game.
Also i think the financial trait should be +1 gold on tiles with 2 like in vanilla. I beileve this only because right now sea tiles are the same for everyone.
I could live with the financial change if you added a building that gave +1 commerce on water tiles mid to late game.

Right. THX.

Mmmm... yes and no. Industrious trait was REALLY too strong in Vanilla. Giving a so strong bonus to wonder built was awesome. Remember that +1 hammer are given on titles with 3 hammers. They are not many. Either hill+plain+forest or mined hills.
I think they are quite good.... at least until another REALLY good system awake from a furious brain. ;)

Yes, why not ? I will ask this with the Team members.

1 hammer on 3 is good for me. Gold/Silver/Gem mines on grass hill gives 2 hammers, so ind. trait doesnt affect this.
As for financial, 1 on plots with 2. Carthage and Mansa Musa will get over powered. Their resarch will be too fast, not to mention great mencenaries stack.
As for Incas, what about them ? Whole continent + industrial +financial.
I play on hard difficulaties, so i dont see any unballances, than usual.

i did +1 gold on plats with 2 and well... resarch is quite fast.
On Noble as Mansa Musa i have Feudalism in 600bc when best enemy civ doesnt have Iron Working yet...
As Mansa Musa on emperor i have a feeling like im playing on normal with +1 on 3.
Nethertheless problems occurs when AI has financial Civ. On noble its not a big deal, but on diety such civs (Mali, England, Carthage) not only outhastes everyone else with science, but also have 50% of its army made from mercenaries with outhastes their possible strongest unit (cataphract when it does not have nor Horseback Riding, nor horses, nor copper/iron).
But when financial civs doesnt have coastal cities, its rather a waste of trait till hamlets with rivers.
As for industrial, +1 on plots with 3 doesnt make all mined hiss give you bonus. Grassland hill has 1 hammer and mine on gold/gems/silver gives you only +1 not +2, so you have a hill with 2 hammers and 5+ gold, so industrial bonus dont work here.
