If your team votes "no," then you're finished with the poll. If your team votes "yes," then you need to choose how you'd like it in the game:

If not normally, then let it be known what changes you'd like to make (any combo of the options below):

Change the Shield Cost

Produce Horsemen Instead of Ancient Cavalry

No, then it would just become a race to see who could build it first and then trample the other civ before the opposing one could do the same.

Myself, I don't recall this discussion, but it may have gone on before I signed up, or I may not have payed attention because I'm only a Vanilla player.

My personal opinion is that it should require Horses instead of Ivory, and an extra 50 shields (making 250 in total).

IMHO, the two military generating wonders (SoZ and Templars)are two unbalancing, even in a regular game.

Ok, first things first: The Statue of Zeus will be in the game, and will not require Ivory. Now that we're done with the clear majorities, we need the shield cost. Combined, 3 teams voted for a different shield cost, so that's a majority; now we need to determine what it will be. Should we just go with the majority of those 3 teams, and select 300 shields? Average them?

Or go with the average of all five teams (250) as two abstentions could mean "no opinion" (-> 283) as well as "at 200 shields it shall stay" (-> 250)... :crazyeye:

If anybody has a compelling argument (that doesn't involve a poll, since we don't want to take up too much time), post it here, otherwise, we'll go with a SoZ that does not require Ivory and that is 300 shields.
