View Full Version : Do you need some LH ?
C.Roland Nov 19, 2006, 02:55 PM Hi CivGold Team !
I'm pretty busy with FFH, but one of the thing that I really like to do is LH and We are using 2d LH in FFH so I like sometimes to create new LH in my free time.
I'm working on Trajan LH (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=193323)for the moment but when I will be done i would like to know if you need some help or if you are okay with all your new leaders.
If you need some help, maybe you can post a leader list with those who need a new LH and maybe I'll pick in this list when I will have freetime. If you do not need any leader for the moment, maybe I can create 2nd and 3th leader for existing civ ? Woud you incorporate thesse in your mod if I do it ?
Nice Job with your mod,
C.Roland

Yes, and yes.
We've had a lot of help from esnaz, who has done some incredible work. And I'm mucking about with a few.
Here's what else we need:
Obasanjo, Nigeria

Chief Joseph, Nez Perce

Yangshao culture leader (neolithic Chinese civ)

Oxus culture leader (neolithic Central Asian civ)

Percival Noel James Patterson, Jamaica
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P._J._Patterson
Eric Eustace Williams, Trinidad & Tobago
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Eustace_Williams
...and maybe most of all, Abraham Lincoln!
I might be able to tackle Obasanjo, as I've already begun with him, but if you could do one or two of the others, that would be awesome.
If you feel like adding to current civs, by all means.
Nice Job with your mod,
C.Roland
Much thanks. :D

For the Oxus and Yangshao leaders, do you have more informations of what they (The leaders) should look like ?
Type of cloth they wear ?
Physical apperance (weel, they sure have an asiatic look, mais encore(but..) ...) ?
Hat ? Type of Hair ?
Maybe you can send me a brief description of you what do you think they should look like .

As you can imagine, images of any kind are hard to come by. I did, however, find some art pieces that may be helpful.
Here is an Oxus plaque with some appearance traits:

Yangshao art was mostly pottery. But the Xia dynasty - said to be descended from the Yangshao - had Yu as a legendary ruler:

...although Yangshao dress should probably be far simpler (we're talking 5000-2000 BC)

A LeaderHead of Sam Houston would be nice. ;)
ahyangyi Jan 04, 2008, 12:45 AM well, this picture of Yu seems to be drawn after at least 600 AD. How can real 1500BC ruler of Xia Dynasty have such a delicate clothing?
I suggest leader of Yangshao should be much simplier. (just imagine what can exist in 4000BC @_@) Searching for some photos of pottery may give some inspiration.
NikNaks Jan 04, 2008, 02:32 AM What are you replying to?
JEELEN Jan 07, 2008, 05:25 AM For an update on 1790 AD for CIV Gold I could use any of the following:
- Tipu Sultan (Southern India, ca. 1800 AD) or The Tiger of Mysore; there's info on himself (+ picture) & his employment of rocket artillery/infantry in the Wikipedia;
- Shah Alam II of the Mughals (Northern India, dito).I have no pictures, but googling Mughal Empire (Wikipedia) can get anyone started on predecessors.
:please:
JEELEN Jan 11, 2008, 09:37 AM I could also use an Akbar leaderhead (also Mughal empire, see previous post) for an upcoming update on my 1600 AD for CIV Gold BTS...:mischief:
Wyz_sub10 Jan 11, 2008, 01:10 PM Let me peak around. I might be able to come up something...if ever I get the time!
JEELEN Jan 11, 2008, 02:56 PM It would be great!
