Thought I'd start this one as from time to time there will be questions about the game.

Question ... Calculate the Tech costs

There is a formula which is used to calculate the new cost of techs which is dependant on how many teams already know it.

Can someone please post this for a 5 team game.

A quick question I am wondering if anyone knows the answer to. It is concerning the scientific advisor, when he says we are technologically advanced/moderately/backwards, is this in respect of known civs only or all civs whether we have met them or not?

I am think that it counts only for the known civs, but I'm not entirely sure. But when you don't know anyone yet, the advisor always says that you're moderately advanced.
