Immaculate Mar 06, 2007, 04:33 AM Can someone post some screenshots or something because otherwise i don't really understand what is going on (can't open save 'cause no CD player still). g_storrow Mar 07, 2007, 03:22 AM I will try and put some on. Any you want in particular? Immaculate Mar 07, 2007, 03:31 AM Some overhead maps maybe? It seems that our early city specialization plans were pretty much thrown out... did we ever establish a GP pump? We are philosophical after all... I. g_storrow Mar 07, 2007, 05:09 AM first 5. will attached antoher couple. g_storrow Mar 07, 2007, 05:11 AM last 3 if you need anymore then let me know. marowaker Mar 08, 2007, 02:52 AM I am SO sorry, i can't play now. I have some late commitments right now. I will try and make up for it later. g_storrow Mar 08, 2007, 03:31 AM Immaculate[unable due to lack of CD player] Marowaker[busy at moment] Prominence[busy at moment] Mightygooga[your turn] g_storrow[next up] pavelthesecond[just played] MG it looks like it is your turn, I hope you have got over the carnival. You have 48hrs to pick the turn up. After a quick look at the save I think we still attack JC I am jsut a little concerned the army in rome is not big enough. Others things to look at is Jungle land which is meant to be our GP pump is not generating any GPPs. Has it built the national epic yet? Question for pavel. how come marodeny, our production powerhouse, built a courthouse just before a war? I know you are producing courthouses for the forbidden palace. Lets get the island so we need the forbidden palace before we build the prerequisites for it. I think the quicker we get the romans off our island the better it is. I mean what have the romans done for us. pavelthesecond Mar 08, 2007, 04:06 AM actualy i was building courthouses to cut down on our spending. each courtehouse saves us 2~5gold per turn per city. And at the time i felt that we could take on JC with the units we have (although i think another 1~2 couldn't hurt) g_storrow Mar 08, 2007, 04:16 AM marodony is right next to the capital though. but never mind I was just wondering why? That is why we play these so we get to know other styles. Immaculate Mar 08, 2007, 06:09 AM I have my CD/DVD player up and running again. g_storrow Mar 09, 2007, 03:14 AM I think you take the turn then. Or the first one to say they have it on here out of mightygooga and immaculate take it. pavelthesecond Mar 12, 2007, 02:53 PM its been 3 days. if mightygooga or immaculate don't post in the next 12 hours, then g_storrow should go ahead and do his turn. if he doesn't post in the 24 hours (after the initial 12 hours) then i'll go ahead and do my turns. P.s. sorry if i sound mean but we need to get this game moving along. Immaculate Mar 13, 2007, 05:40 AM Go ahead. 10 char. g_storrow Mar 14, 2007, 09:51 AM yes go ahead we can do our turns after that. Sorry I have been away. MightyGooga Mar 16, 2007, 10:16 AM Hello, Is Immaculate playing now? I got the game. Should I play or is anyone doing it so? Immaculate Mar 16, 2007, 10:28 AM Immaculate is not playing now, that’s why I wrote: "go ahead" I'll be honest with you all. In the beginning, I was pretty psyched about this game but it didn't seem like too many others were. Discussion was sparse. I tried to get a lively discussion going, but with only limited success (albeit some members DID discuss- I don’t want to seem too harsh). Then we seemed to have made a few decisions together as a group and people played and those decisions were completely ignored (or maybe they were just forgotten). This format allows for a really great advantage- we can make decisions as a community and draw on each others talents and experiences to draw up a plan. As a consequence of these factors, I find it hard to get motivated about this game now. I don't really care about this game anymore and am really not at too interested in playing turns at all. Instead, I want to play the starting save and see what I can do by myself before it develops too much. If no one minds, I will drop out of this SG and wish you all the best of luck. Your score seems to be pretty competitive and you are doing well, so despite the manner in which this is developing, those that stick with it will do well I am sure. MightyGooga Mar 16, 2007, 12:23 PM Oh... thats sad to hear Immacul. You are a good team player. I think we should expect ups and downs in motivation. When Im playing solo its easy to just drop the game and stuff. The thing is that the time we played was not much of an incetive. Christmas, New Years, Starting to work, Carnaval. Im new at playing sucession, but it already seems pretty hard to keep motivated all the time. Are you sure you want to do this. I propose we make a group decision then to drop this. Is this a good dela? MightyGooga Mar 16, 2007, 12:27 PM Anyways, I got the save. Just give me a go you guys. ps: Immacul Reconsider Please! g_storrow Mar 20, 2007, 08:49 AM How is it going MG? The deadline is 30th March by the way guys. MightyGooga Mar 20, 2007, 11:58 AM Should I play or what? g_storrow Mar 22, 2007, 07:47 AM you might as well. pavelthesecond Mar 23, 2007, 03:52 AM hey guys, sorry i droped out for some time. i had lots of important deadlines to meet didn't have time to play the game. also, i'm going to be very busy and won't be albe to play untill april 2nd. |
