1.17, 1.16 or none?

Perhaps we should change this to "what patch are we using?". ;) I am guessing that they choose to go with 1.17. But it could be worth discussing what to do when the new patch is released. Since patch 1.17 is a bit flawed I would like us to go for the new one, if it is possible.

I expect we are using 1.17...as to what we should use when the new patch comes out I think we should carry on using 1.17

Seems like the standard practise in the Civ3 succession games and a lot of these guys are heavily into them as well. :D

Sorry, I have soem problems with my computr, so I am agraid I couldn't use any patch. When I use any patch for Civ III, my computer crashes as doon as I load a savedgame, so I have to paly without those patches. If it's because that Eugenne pest, the Friendship Experiment IS @#$@#&%*$&^%*^#*$!

I want to use a patch that actually works and improves the game.

Firaxis may get around to making that some day.
