I made the buildings in bryce, and then altered the pic in gimp, so that it can look a bit like some old rpg games and/or warcraft.

Im not sure what it is...maybe a gate of some kind?...I like the style tho...just needs to be more defined

I think it is a too dark and too much specularity (unless that rock looking thing is supposed to be metallic). I would also suggest using a bump map to add some texture and some pitting.

But, it is interesting to look at.
