Any one know how to make Starting positions more distant to each other ?

Im sick of random Huge maps, where 5 civs have their starting positions to make them fight for the hill next to the city, when rest of the map is empty.
Know where and how to edit this in other way than "do it your self" in WB after game start ?

Think i found it in glabaldefines.xml

<DefineName>STARTING_DISTANCE_PERCENT</DefineName>

<DefineName>MIN_CIV_STARTING_DISTANCE</DefineName>
what is what ?

<DefineName>MIN_CIV_STARTING_DISTANCE</DefineName> has 10 by default, but the start like 6 plots next to mine.. so not only we have sticky borders, but actually cant have full city radius.

If this mod is going to use Blakes "Better - AI" - he has already changed the AI code to tackle this problem.

It will be available in the next version.

yes, we have included Better AI
pre-gold will be based on official version from 9.12.2006

The version solving this particular problem has not yet been released.

Just a heads up - in case you get any complaints.

Also - just so you know - I am only a lurker and tester of the "better AI" mod. Not part of the team.

yes, you are right - but for gold this will be updated (i don't have time to update for latest Better AI - this will take some time to merge code and test)

ive just started my first game with this mod and this problem still exists, on turn 4 and ive already encountered the brits n french. is this easily fixed?

Is it a random map? Because on world map it's easily explainable and quite natural (for, say, Spain or Germany).
