Now this won't mean a lot to most of you, but it's just about the last straw for me.

Steven Pressley is not a natural rebel, and his statement 7 weeks ago was born of desperation, and of no longer believeing that things could be put right inside the club. Have a look at the video link on this article (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/h/heart_of_midlothian/6091336.stm).

After that statement, Pressley was dropped. And now he's been discarded.

It's pretty heartbreaking to see the team you grew up with transforming itself like this - I guess I blinded myself to incidents such as George Burley's departure when we finally won something (the Scottish Cup), but the totalitarian nature of Vladimir Romanov's rule at Hearts was clear from long ago, and I feel dirty and somewhat ashamed of being prepared to put up with as long as it seemed to be partnered by success on the field.

Well, no more. I'd rather Hearts became a run-of-the-mill provincial team in the lower half of the Scottish Premiership (or lower) than a byword for the worst sort of dictatorial rule by the owner - as it now has. (By the way, please be clear that this is no Lithuanian version of Abramovic - Roman might want to buy his way to success, but he at least respects his manager and players as he goes along.)

I'd rather we got beaten, relegated and humiliated, if we could get rid of Romanov and his coterie and get back to being a genuine football club, with a respect for our players, and for our fans. It really would be the best option for Heart of Midlothian.

But, for now, I feel dirty, sickened, and, above all, desperately sad.

Hearts seems to be in a total chaos.

This shows that you can't buy everything with money.

Did Romanov make any notable signings?

He brought in a sizable Lithuanian contingent very cheaply. There are some good players there, but have allegedly formed a very separate dressing room clique.

It gets worse. Craig Gordon and Paul Hartley, who were sitting with Pressley when he made his announcement, have had disciplinary meetings, the details of which they are not allowed to make public.

They have both then been dropped (even though Gordon is the Scotish national goalkeeper). And then, surprise, surprise, Romanov brings in the current Lithuanian goalkeeper for a trial. What a turd.

Ther's an open letter from the Hearts Supporters Trust to the owner at http://www.homst.com/ - it's worth a read.

Wow.

That's some talk to Romanov. I don't know about Scottish football, but I think this is pretty remarkable.

It's not nice to be a Hearts-fan, eh? Though I believe you are proud about the acts of the HOMST.

I was shocked when he left. Pressley WAS Hearts in my opinion. He was the rock every team needs.

I fear for hearts, Pressley gone, Hartley on a shaky nail, Gordon the same and did I not hear Neilson was having words too?
