I've been playing recently
Rhye's and Fall of Civilization - mod
http://forums.civfanatics.com/forumdisplay.php?f=204

There is one thing which is very interesting. Dynamic civilizations.
Civs are appearing in different times according to history - sometimes even, if necassary, civilization is born as a reblion in existing one.
I think this is very nice and fresh idea - especially for earth game of TR

What do You think?

I like too. The idea is quite good at first. Let us take time to have a GOOD and DEEP look at that, then we will tell you.

I don't particularly like it... that's the main feature of Rhye's and Fall... Total Realism is a different sort of game. Rhye's and Fall is intended to mimic history quite closely, while Total Realism is a mod adding lots of cool features to the game. Adding things from Total Realism into Rhye's and Fall is one thing... but turning Total Realism into Rhye's and Fall is another. I rather like Total Realism the way it is, and wouldn't at all support adding Rhye's and Fall's timing system.

Mostly because I don't like what it does to gameplay.

I remember propagande and city turning back in Civ II and III. Ur units (guerilla in Teturkhans) were spawning outside the city making you possible to sieze controll. I Really liked that.

Imalso wonder. Is there a way to "return" city to its righthous owner ? And get a + disposition ? Like it is in Knights of Honor, if a Rome get conquered and you conqer it, you have a chance to return it to the Papal state.

I think such thing will be nice in TR, especially in war with friend. No longer when friend looses city to enemy and you capture it and can have it your self with no disposition penalty towards rightous owner.

this is already in warlords - when you conquer city, you can return it to original owner (city must have some % of original population/nationality, don't remember how much)

Yeah i think i have seen this one. But ofcourse you cant give city back to its owner if you are in war with him ;)
But im saying is there a disposition middifier for this ? If not can you add it ?

Hello to everyone.

I played to Rhye's mod, and it is nice, but if you want to start with a civ like Germany, Spain, USA... you have to wait too long (too much turns); I prefer Total Realism as it is now... but maybe there could be a chance for civs to change their leaders (not for you): you are playing against Hapshetsup, but suddenly Egypt change to Ramses II... of course, just one/two changes per game.
