I would like to play the Korean WOTM, just for fun and learn from the comments others have made about it. Unfortunately the HOF-200.002.exe is no longer available. Is there a way around this?

Gyathaar Dec 12, 2006, 07:15 AM You can currently find that HOF mod here: http://hof.civfanatics.net/civ4/mods/old/HOF-2.00.002.exe Seems a better setup for keeping track of old HOF mods might be needed thou.. Is there a way around this? You know that HOF-200.002 only works with Warlords v2.00, don't you? (ie. not with patch 2.08) AlanH Dec 15, 2006, 06:41 AM Aner1963 has it right. WOTM 2 was a Warlords 2.00 game, using HoF Mod v2.00.002 Along with easy access to past HoF mods, we need easy access to directions for multiple installs of Civ IV/Warlords. When the results for GOTM10 - GOTM12 and WOTM1 - WOTM2 are posted, many players are going to want to download and open the save files for these games. Unless I'm missing something  , players will need multiple installs of Civ IV/Warlords to do so for Warlords saves. When a new patch for Civilization IV comes out, the same will be true for old Civ IV GOTM games. Before we used HoF mods, this was not mandatory, but now I believe it is. Or maybe I'm the only one here that still has old games they want to play. At least I recently finished up with Civ IV v1_52. :) DynamicSpirit Dec 16, 2006, 07:30 AM Or maybe I'm the only one here that still has old games they want to play. As soon as I can find the time, I quite want to try replaying some of the earlier GOTMs from 8-9 months ago, as it'd be quite interesting to see whether/by how much my playing has improved since then. I am a bit worried by the thought that's likely going to entail a reinstall of Civ so I can apply earlier patches though :-( |
