Fall From Heaven cannot work with the Mac version, as it relies on a custom DLL created using the Windows SDK. There is no SDK for the Mac, and the Mac version cannot use a custom DLL. Unfortunately, this is likely to apply to most of the recent and ambitious mods out there.

arrgghh! that does it. i'm buying a gaming PC.....unless......how would this game run on an intel mac in windows? would the game and the mod run fine? i've had my eye on a quad xeon for some time now.

It should work fine. A friend of mine finally broke down and bought the windows version, I will probably borrow it next week so that I can benchmark some intel macs running windows for comparison. I'll let you know how that works.

There's a thread stickied in this forum that lists the mods that work with Mac versions of Civ4, and a new thread has been started to document Warlords mods that work on the Mac. Just look down the thread list for this forum.
