OK, a man needs an aim in playing civ. My aim is to get a lower quattromaster score then Superslug. Being an horrible civ player this shouldn't be to hard, right?

Conditions:

- playing only warlord games
- submitting 18 games, each with a different civ
- get quattromaster as cheap as possible

Now being as inept at playing Civ as I am, there are 4 diffcult games for me: the gauntlets. Thus I will start with a gauntlet first. After those are finished (if luck allows as early as february) the remaining 14 games are more easily decided upon.

So lets start with: Gauntlet 6

Ah, but you must beat all difficulties. ;)

Actually I'm not so much afraid about the higher difficulties.

Deity I'll probably try with the typical quechua rush. Immortal the same game with praetorians. Emperor till Chieftain the good old axemen rush should do. All the other games will be Settler difficulty, and even I can beat Settler. ^^

Well, first try on Gauntlet 6: managed fairly well till 1506 AD, even got the 4 modern faiths and won the liberalism race (without any slingshot). Though forgot to keep my defense up and Ragnar recognized a juicy target.

Well, still 3 days left ^^.

tip: want low score, try playing future starts

OMG, I can attest to this. I submitted my first game, modern start (super easy settings), just to start hacking away at some of the Quattromaster categories, beat it in about 20 turns... got a Score QScore of 1.168 :D

Only problem with using Future starts for low Qscores is that someone's already using them to get ICBM's quickly, and then takes his sweet time nuking Mongol cities.

On a side note, I'm somewhat dismayed that underachieving is potentially a competition within the HOF, but I guess that just really reflects how competitive this environment can be.

Oh well, as long as the rules are abided by, players can do whatever they find fun!

*snicker* Well, to be honest: what does sound better: "hey, I'm able to be a worse player then you" or "oh gosh, I suck so much, I'm a worse player then you"? ;)

After the next update, I'll be a Minor Gauntlet away from the coveted quattromaster designation and unfortunately I'm very competitive (unintentionally) for most pathetic quattromaster.
