This seems ridiculous, if so.

I've tried to make a backup copy of the game, and it does not seem to be working so well, so I thought I'd post this question. I looked, but didn't find the answer, elsewhere.

Why they can't make these games with the ability to recognize that you're playing on a network, and allow play without multiple CDs is beyond me. Oh, dummy me, that's right. Money.

You do not have to get a second copy. If you start the game using the disc then open the disc tray and remove the disc the game will run fine and you can then start the game on the other comp using the same disc...Hope this helps
