when i try to reinstall civ3 it says i need to insert disk 0 to get the file data3.cab. I only have one CD to install the damn game and it worked the first time.

This happened to me too, and since there isn't a reply I'll add one, found on the internet by searching google. Google Is Your Friend(tm).

Cause/Solution: This occurs when a previous program leaves its setup files in the Windows Temp folder. Browse to your Windows Temp folder (default location c:\Windows\Temp) and delete all files and folders located there. Now rerun setup.
