As has already been noted, this game has brought a new dimension to the term 'EPIC'.

In my life since this game has started:
Advanced a tier in Union benefits
Got Married (to the woman I'd been with for many years, we just finally decided to formalize)
Adopted a doggie
Started a small business
Saw the birth of 2 nieces

Not bad!

Had to go back and see when this started. Jan '07?!? Here's what been going on for me:

Bought a house.
Bought a car.
Lost a job.
Bought another house.
Earned my master's degree.
Welcomed my newest grandson into the world.
Went to my step-son's wedding.
Got a job working for the census.
Got a real job.
Gave my step-daughter away at her wedding.

Oh yeah, I played alot of civ, too!

Got a depression :sad:

And I did not yet become No. 1 inf the Hof QM challenge ;)

Here's what been going on for me after making the map (not chronologically):

Got married.
Bought a car.
Lost a job.
Got an decree in childminding.
Stayed unemployed for nearly 18 months.
Found a crappy job.
Welcomed my son into the world.
Went to several weddings.
Saw 5 real life Orca's.
Met several civ fanatics and other civ players.

Oh yeah, I haven't played alot of civ, too!
