hi this is my first time at modding agian:rolleyes:

i loved this mod in vanilla but want to update it for warlords

updates

protective
Archery and Gunpowder units receive Drill I&2 and City Garrison I&2automatically
Double production speed of Walls and Castle and drydock.

imperalistic
+100% Great General emergence
75% faster production of settlers
50% no of city tax


charismatic
+2 happiness per city
-25% XP needed for unit promotions
+1 happiness from Monument, Broadcast Tower
less war:mad: (-25%)

aggressive gets cut price stables(instead of drydock)
promos to melle and tanks not gunpowder
expansive gets the 50% worker building

need to do list
add charismatic trait
add imprealistic trait
buildings/units for all traits

done list
no upkeep for free religion
vassalage gets +3exp +5%faster worker speed
thoecacy down to medium
oganised religion to high
protective (not dry dock)
agressive has melle/armored units




1)how do i update it to warlords?

2)how do i make traits have faster buildings(eg agressive has baracks)and units(workers and settler)?

3)charismatic/imprealistic how do i put this on the xml text?

4)is there any line of text that has been added in warlords?

quite a bit to to isnt there!! please help

4) There about a billion lines of text that have added for Warlords. It is a huge undertaking to convert something from vanilla to warlords.

This was just an XML mod.

@kristopherb: Look in the tutorial forum, I remember seeing a thread there on updating XML. Basically, you start with the Warlords versions of the two files and try to make the same or similar changes.

I find it helps to compare the two modded xml files you have to their original versions which you can find in the original Assets directory, the Warlords XP does not overwrite them.

so is there a thread that says what i need to add/takeawayNo, it's not that simple sorry. All mods will be different in how they need to be updated to work with Warlords.

1. It should be very easy as it is an XML only mod. All you need to do is compare the Warlords files with the mod files and make the same changes.

The quickest and easiest way would be to use a program like Winmerge (http://winmerge.org/), open the mod file and the same Warlords file, the differences will be highlighted for you.

Any problems ask.
