http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/37977/Small5Jan07.jpg More excellent files for you, with a particularly fine selection if you like modern fighting machines. La dav and Wyrmshadow, among others, have produced a pile of great twentieth-century mechanical units. We've also got the public beta of the much-awaited Fallout mod. With its awesomely original graphics it really gives a new twist to the game, so be sure to check it out.

UNITS

Moblin (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=197902) by Orthanc. An imaginative model with some great animations!

Chainsaw Maniac (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=198409) by aaglo. The name really says it all here.

Kara Class Missile Cruiser (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=198796) by vingrjoe. Another great unit from the battleship maestro.

Captain Jack Sparrow (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=199476) by Hikaro Takayama. Everyone's favourite worst pirate, in all his glory!

Mextli (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?p=4939500) by Orthanc. Surely one of the strangest-looking ships ever conceived - great fun!

Three Large Aircraft (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?p=4938517) by la dav. The Y-8D transport aircraft, Y-8II transport aircraft and EL-76 AWACS aircraft - all extremely impressive.

Chinese 88C/96T MBT (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?p=4938241) by la dav. It's a tank, and a great one - I like the detail of the dust as it moves.

Two 122mm Howizers (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=200043) by la dav. Two more really good modern units for China - the 70-1T and the 70-II.

Raketentruppe (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?p=4921193) by Wyrmshadow. Surely the best death animation of all time.

WWI Artillery Pack (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?p=4804206) by Wyrmshadow. Eight nasty-looking guns to pound the trenches with.

Modern Workers (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=199975) by Wyrmshadow. An original idea - one unit, but different vehicles appear in each animation to do the different jobs.

Polish Cavalry, 1939 (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=95501) by Wyrmshadow.

All Civ-Coloured Roman Grenadier (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=120217) by Wyrmshadow. Two new and improved versions of old units that were really rather good to start with.

LEADERHEADS

Grand Duke Kam'lanaut of Jueno (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=131168) by Hikaro Takayama. A slightly less anime-ish new version of this Final Fantasy character.

IMPROVEMENTS AND WONDERS

Tokugawa Period Bath House (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=198756) by Ogedei the Mad. A really nice and original Japanese building.

Marketplace (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=198667) by Partizanac. More of a market stall, perhaps, but a funky one nonetheless.

St Peter's Church in Ras (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=198570) by Partizanac. A nice Orthodox-style church.

Medieval Food Granary (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?p=4921377#post4921377) by Partizanac. Nice improvement with an optional wonder splash!

Pagan Temple (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?p=4922922#post4922922) by Partizanac. This one has a wonder splash too, and it looks really good.

The Golden Calf (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=198199) by Heretic Cata. The idol from Exodus 32 - very imaginative!

Magnetic Levitation Transportation System (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=198200) by Heretic Cata. If it's maglev, why does it seem to be on an ordinary track? We may never know...

Besaid Shrine (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=199347) by Hikaro Takayama. A beautiful image based on Final Fantasy.

TECH ICONS

Five Medieval Tech Icons (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=197791) by Mirc. To be precise: Bronze Ornament, Medieval Shield, Medieval Flag, Shield with cross, and Medieval Helmet.

Roman/Dacian Tech Icons (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=197794) by Mirc. These are Dacian Coin, Dacian Helmet, Bran Castle, and Alternate Coin.

Weaving (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=4910262&postcount=71) by LizardmenRule! A nicely dramatic image here.

MODS

Fallout - The Rebirth Of Civilization (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=199196) by Thorgrimm. The first public beta of this massive Mad Max-style mod. It looks seriously sexy.

MAPS

The British Isles (http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=3887) by Polietileno. A really good, large map of Britain and Ireland.

Actually it looks exactly like in the game:

And not very different from the real thing:

Ok, maybe not quite as close. But you can't really tell such fine details on civ-scale. :mischief:

Ummm, the link for "Weaving" is exactly the same as the Besaid Shrine.

Probably just a typo.

Quite a few of the links are repeats, any chance of a fix?

Sorry about that - don't know how it happened. I've checked and corrected them all now.
