Unit makers if I have to beg I will. ;) I have the models for the following units, but I can't animate them and need help in getting them done.

Models;
Enclave leader Frank Horrigan
Fallout Advanced Powered Armor
Fallout RPG Deathclaw
Geckos, both Regular and Golden
Fire Gecko
Giant Ant
Giant Mantis

These really need to get done so I can implement the critter civ, and give the Enclave their proper leader. And give the Enclave and BOS the proper Advanced PA.

NavyDawg, it looks good, but is there any way we could get a fedora instead of a ten gallon hat? And possibly beef him up a bit, think Arnie in his prime, and a lighter blue pinstripe suit?:D

In case you are wondering why this unit, it is going to be the UU for the New Reno Mobs, he is a 'made man'.

I am glad you included the Tommy gun, I was worried you would not have a model for it. :D

The hat is actually the poser 5 fedora, but maybe I have it a little too big. Also, I'll lighten the suit, but don't think pinstripes will show up at civ scale. I think I can beef him up a bit too, but isn't Arnie still in his prime? Do you want any civ color?

I'd also like to give the Advanced Power Armor a crack. Is it poser ready (skeleton, etc...)?

NavyDawg, no civ colors needed for the Mod, but maybe folks would like them for when you release it to the public. :) I would love to see you do the PA to. :goodjob:

Just let me know where to send the model to and I will send the Adv PA to you with the textures I used. :)

EDIT: I also have this lil 'buttercup' as a model, Frank Horrigan, he will be the Enclave's Leader unit.:king:

I like that idea! it will give a use for the genetic tailoring tech for the Enclave. :goodjob: Good job dude. As soon as ole Frank is made I will have a normal version and the genetic freak version o0nce the Enclave researches Genetic Tailoring.

Keep up the good work. If you want to join the team (O)ndatra, go to your user control panel and then usergroups and apply to join Flamand and Thor's Sci Fi Workshop as a playtester. But you would be expected to test the parts that are assigned to you. If that is ok with you, then apply. :)

Just a small note -

The recruiter seems to suffer from the same problem the sec bot suffered from, where his feet are at the bottom corner of the tile, rather than the middle. If he was higher up it would be easier to tell which tile he is in (especially with the grid turned off).

@SWalker, yeah I noticed that to, it seems all FO:T Units need to be centered for some reason.

By the way: Since it's a topic about new units, what about giving to New Reno somekind of early energy weapon-yelding mobster, like a "Salvatore Laser" or somerthing?

By the way: Brainbots are going to be implemented to the robots?

Navy Dawg is working on The Made Man now for the mobs, so far we only have one energy weapon at all. I can't make them and not too many here on CFC that will fit the Fallout setting.

If I can talk Flamand into using a wee bit of creative skill, we can edit some of the units to look like that are firing energy weapons, I eveh have the gifs unpacked from FO:T

BTW, Since the DaC Regulars have decided to start spamming the thread on DaC, I am not going to post there anymore.

As for the Brainbot, I am trying to find a place for it in the Bot TO&E.

LMAO!, whatever it takes. ;) :D

But seriously, the only thing that would need to be added are the energy projectile gifs the the rifle, heavy, pistol, and Minigun units.

Also, on the FO:T units, IIRC they all need to be moved up between 15 and 20 points.

yup, and now that we have the other turrets from FO:T we can have interim turrets before the popup becomes available. :)

And as for DaC and NMA, well, nobody on EITHER forum can say I did not ask for their opinions and ask for their feedback, and except for you I only got a couple on DaC, and only one on NMA. These are quite the nice ones. Which ones are you doing from FoT except the ones you already made?

I agree with Flamand on cutting and pasting. It takes lots of patience. I used it to add the "die!" part for the shotgunner and when I realized it wasn't pasted as I wanted, it was too much work to scrap it(and I only did one direction). Have in mind that you have to be very careful with the directions if you'll do it Especially the ones seen from the back of the unit, these are the hardest.

Also, look out for small bits of grey shadow around FoT units, I had this with the one you're using as a science leader and had to clean every frame. That's cause I wanted to keep the shadow they had in FoT. Though maybe you found a way that doesn't mess with that, hope you did, else it's a lot of work.

Btw, are those scorpions a new unit or are they the old ones? Cause they look better, for sure.

Flame, tell me about it. The 20 I did were C&P. A real pain in the backside. But that is how I made the mutie flamethrower by adding the flame overlay to the mutie heavy burst flic.

Well, what ones we use is up to Flamand since he is the one making them, but at the minimum we will finish the basic TO&E for the muties and ghouls, and depending on how much more Flamand is willing to do, I would like to get versions of the PA with the other weapons so we don't have to use the WH40k PA.

The Scorpions is the one made from the model by FTR and animated by Flamand.

Ah, ok then. Looks better one has to admit than the earlier scorpions.
And come to think of it, your idea on the Elder for Science is good, as it's generic.

Now that should be a daunting task, I noticed that the animation looked like he used a machine gun, but thought it was like that in the game too. Didn't remember the projectile anims were separate. They look nice so far though.

However I wish you the best with your efforts. Btw, I'm thinking of releasing the dweller to the public, that ok with you? Would silence a bit those that keep telling me I can't release anything I post previews of.

I've been talking to an esteemed member here and there might be good news for modders within 2007(if we get lucky).

The worker is done, but exporting it has to do with the last sentence of my earlier post. Can't tell you what it is about yet. Maybe if I get a date on it.
Though it might benefit from getting it to another version of Poser.

I've spent two thousand last year on acquiring stuff like better software and models. But little time to actually use them. Waiting for time breaks. I want to make about 40 units so I must make some time and get help from that member, else I might cancel it. If I'll cancel I'll either send you the models so your guys can export or release it all together.

The Shotgunner got to be crappy, so I don't want to release an atrocity again.

The Made Man comes with physics, it replaces the Combat Armor Rifle for the Mob and the stats are in the pic. :)

As for the update I would like to at least get in the replacement buildings so we can begin intensively playtesting and have the non human civs at least be able to grow and have acces to the same buildings as the huiman civs. :)

Very nice.
Does the...mutie launcha :P wear goggles? There is this red thing on his head.

I think that is part of his helmet, but Aaglo could say for sure. :)

There's a red trim around it's helmet. And it also wears goggles. Eyeprotection is essential - even for muties :)

If you'll check out Fallout art, they have it, and probably is standard issue anyway(not visible on game, but one can assume they didn't include all the details out of inability due to time or technology restrictions). It fits anyway.
