I got a new wireless connection, so I got a Netgear USB adaptor. When I installed it, the XP log in and shut down screens were replaced with something that looks like it's from an earlier version of Windows. When I tried to turn on fast user switching, it said I had to uninstall the adaptor.

So what's the problem?

I don't know how to get the screens back without uninstalling the adaptor.
