Can anyone tell me if you can delete an industry in a city. I am playing the Northwest US scenario and one of the goals is to build a newspaper in Boise. The problem is that when the map started there were 3 industries in Boise and none was a newspaper.

Sorry, no can do. Well, you can restart the map and cross your fingers.

Man, that's a bizarre bug; but not surprising at all; the developers really should've inserted a rule to prevent that from happening *at the start of the game*. Sheesh. :)

i'd like to hook onto this thread: is it possible to sell or otherwise get rid of an industry in a city you've bought through auction? sometimes no goods are delivered and i can't get them there, or they don't give profit for ages, so i'd like to sell them again. thanx!

No, you cannot sell an industry. When you start the game, put it in pause and really look over the map and make plans.....
