Is Empire Earth 2 worth the money or should i just get another game.

I got Empire Earth 2 Platinum Edition a few years back. It's pretty good, it also has a bit of a Civilization 3 play feel to it. There are borders and as you advance to different ages, more resources pop up.

Get "Rise of Nations" instead!

Empire Earth II was a lot of fun, but it was super complex, and some see that as a bad thing.

I concur, it's a combo of Civilization and Age of Empires, if you don't know.

I enjoyed it. It was hard micro'n those hugh armies though. I mostly just co-oped it. Great fun imho. worth a few bucks at least.

I thought it was mostly worthless and a big memory hog, but that was back on my bad comp. If it is really cheap, I don't see the harm.

I found EE2 an excellent game for role playing :)

EE2 is too easy to play in my opinion, that's why I don't really play that often.

I've enjoyed the EE2 campaigns overall. Fun game to play in spurts, but I wouldn't pay more than $20 for the complete game + sequels. EE might be a little more fun to play a random game as well.
