Heretic_Cata Feb 05, 2007, 08:19 AM Whoa, that was fast.
Thank you
Nothing fancy, if links to existing sounds are not enough (out of sync) I usually just edit the wav files so that they sync with animations.
Heh, it's way more than i could've done. :)
I can post more per request but I've only edited sounds for medieval & fantasy units.
Yay :bounce:
I am assuming that i will have some more ancient&medieval units with no sounds once i add the expansion units.
But untill then, (it might be a while) maybe you could take a look at the Habiru from post 246. :please:
Vuldacon Feb 10, 2007, 11:38 AM Here are the sounds and pcx files I use for the Crawler unit by Level if anyone wants them. Fun Unit and very well done. Units and sounds have a way of sometimes getting scattered :)

Russian pikeman (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=1196824&postcount=19)
I think that's about all the units that really need some sounds.
Adler17 May 02, 2007, 12:53 AM I am looking for a certain sound file from the German version of Starcraft, the Firebat (Flammenwerfer), who says "Feuer gefällig?". I can't see such a sound in the folders of Starcraft. Is there anyone having the sound or how to extract it?

polyphemus Jun 22, 2007, 05:19 PM This is a good site a found for battle sounds: http://www.grsites.com/sounds/battle001.shtml

Logitech Jul 18, 2007, 01:53 PM To return to a dead subject...:mischief:
I have edited and successfully got away from game crashes with .amb's. If you open it with notepad, it's quite easy to figure out how it works. I just look for when a file name begins and I rename that. :D It works for me, at least.
conex Aug 12, 2007, 09:39 AM hi guys, i am a newbie here, please can anyone tell me where can I get MECHWARRIOR sound wav download. thanks:) :)

El Justo Mar 31, 2008, 04:04 PM do you guys have any Asian voices? Chinese? Thai? Vietnamese maybe?
other voices i could use - Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Polish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Danish, Dutch, Flemish, Hindi, Farsi, Tagalog, Punjabi, Pashtun, Egyptian, Greek, Turkish, Croat/Slovenian/Czech, and Indonesian
of course, none are imperative. however, i thought i'd see if anyone had any of the above and if so, whether anyone would be willing to share :)
Kallewirsch Aug 19, 2008, 04:24 AM BTW, there's actually a .wav file that I found in MOA that has a German yelling victory...I think. (I'm using this in a Civ2 scen where you get this sound whenever the Germans capture a city --pretty cool.) Would someone who speaks German be nice enough to confirm that this is in fact what he's saying? Here's the file:
He says: "Wir haben gesiegt!" that means: "We have won (the battle)!"
The word "gesiegt" is a verb form of "Sieg" like in "Sieg Heil" by the way.
The noun is "der Sieg" that means "the victory"
You conjugate:
"Ich siege" - "I win"
"Du siegst" - "You win"
"Er, sie, es siegt" - "He, she, it wins"
"Wir siegen" - " We win"
"Ihr siegt" - "You win"
"Sie siegen" - "They win"
This was it, my little language conversion is at the end.;)
I think, my ability to speak English ist very rusty, if you understand, what I mean.:crazyeye:

Lord Malbeth Jun 23, 2009, 08:16 PM I needed this for my War of the Rings scenario I made, so I thought I might as well post it.
It's basically the Ring Chant in the Black Speech from LOTR.
Tommy Vercetti Jun 30, 2009, 01:22 AM Does anyone have sounds for Wyrmshadow's ekranoplan and Zumwalt Class Destroyer units?

antares60 Nov 08, 2011, 07:35 AM I want to change the wav file that is used for the explosion when you bombard something, but I can't find it anywhere. What is the name of this file and where is it located?
antares60 Nov 20, 2011, 03:54 PM Found these on the web, and modified to add more depth and punch. A smoothbore cannon, matchlight musket and an Enfield rifle. I really like the musket wav, it sounds so rich in the game.

I have made two wav files for Wyrmshadows's excellent flak battery. I used Vingrjoes AttackA.wav from his Des Moines cruiser. It originally was a three shot salvo, but I cut out the first two shots and copied the third and pasted it at the end, creating a delayed two shot salvo to match the firing sequence. I tested it and the timing seems to look perfect.
The fortify.wav is the turret turning from the same file, edited and created as a separate file.
I also included an edited .INI file so you can overwrite yours if you already have this unit.
