View Full Version : What is the demo game tonyf12 Jan 20, 2007, 12:49 PM what is the demo game DaveShack Jan 20, 2007, 01:34 PM It's a game played as a democracy, where forum members are the citizens and make decisions about how to play the game by polling or by electing officials to represent them. Within this forum you'll find 4 subforums, for a multi-team game (5 teams playing a MP game, each one decides its own form of government), an inter-site game (CFC playing against 6 other Civ sites for bragging rights), and two "single player" games (an old dead one, and a brand new one), where the people in those forums are playing against AIs. The "Game of Democracy" single player forum will be archived once we're done moving all the necessary content for the next game into the new "Democracy Game II" forum. You can play in all 3 of the active games if you want. Each one has its own user group for access control. dutchfire Jan 21, 2007, 02:17 AM Some help-guides: normal demogame (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=202823) the civIII demogame (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=195195), comparable to the civIV demogame. Mariadoc Jan 22, 2007, 01:08 PM Well, it was just an idea, but what about playing a democracy game using a scenario like Rise of Rome and adjusting posaitions accordingly? Would that not be nice? ice2k4 Jan 25, 2007, 11:06 AM Well, it was just an idea, but what about playing a democracy game using a scenario like Rise of Rome and adjusting posaitions accordingly? Would that not be nice? The question has been raised before, but usually there is not enough support or discussion on the idea. |
