Welcome to my spoiler thread. This is the spoiler thread for a Play By E-Mail game I'm playing with BCLG100, Robboo and Oldbus. We started this game during the last demogame, and we're still playing it.

The Beautiful city of London, where this game started for me:

Finished Iron Working on the interturn, settler will complete on the next interturn. He'll settle this site. Or I could let him settle one more to the east to grab the wheat. Opinions?

You'd be losing way too much by grabbing that wheat. You'd be taking in two un-workable mountain tiles and losing a floodplain and hill. The benefits are sorely outweighed by the costs.

I met Oldbus to my southeast, and said "Hi". We can't do much diplomacy at the moment.

Hi dutchfire :wavey:. Glad I found this so I can watch you play and learn from you. Just curious - why Iron Working since you had copper? I would have been inclined to get cottages going ASAP once I was sure I had a metal.

Hi Chamnix,
Didn't think I'd find you here. Are you trying to see my tactics for our pbem? :p

Why Iron Working
Copper wasn't in a great location, so I didn't know how good it was settle there. And I would still need Iron for the Middle Ages (without Knights, Crossbows and Pikes, I'd have serious problems :p). As there was no-one really close, so I didn't need copper at that moment, I decided that Iron Working would be a good choice.

I'm now two turns from completing Pottery, and one turn from needing it. With the 3 good tiles I had in my capital, I decided to use them for maximal worker/settler production instead of commerce.

And Iron Working is a great trading tech as there are two AI's on my continent.

I'll finish Animal Husbandry in 1 turn, still thinking about what to do next.
I'm currently starting on Stonehenge to get some easy great people points and :culture:. And I have stone so it will be very cheap. I'm going to have some :health: problems though.

I've completed Stonehenge on the interturn, I'll post some screenies next turn. I'm thinking of building a worker in London now, as I need a lot of improvements (I've got 1 worker for 3 cities!).

As promised
I'm thinking about expanding south, and positioning a lot of fogbusters, as there don't seem to be any AI's close.
