Okay, this is really starting to piss me off. Basically, Poser files just delete themselves. It started with my Asiatic Swordsman. I saved it, and turned off my computer. When I turned it back on, all the lights and figures in the scene magically disappeared. Luckily, I had another save file (which had all the lights gone, but thankfully not the figure) which I imported into the 100x100 template. The kilt had disappeared, too, so I put it back. The same thing happened with my Leonidas unit (WIP), except I had no backup. So I had to start over yesterday. I did all the animations over, and rendered the default anim. I saved, twice, and turned off my comp. I turned it on today, and lo and behold, the same thing happened. Any ideas on why?

Same happened my mongol. fortunately i knew the mode linside out and reproduced it in about twenty minutes... still, not a nice thing to happen at any rate. i have no clue why though. i guess you should just save a copy to two of the files.

While I've had lots of stupidity from that program, I've never had what you describe happen to me, even after lots of Poser use. I don't know much about the technical stuff of computers though, so I wouldn't know what could cause a problem like that.:( I hope someone can help you figure out the problem.:)

I have had files corrupt themselves sometimes in strange ways, although it doesn't happen very often. Poser does seem to have a lot of problems of this kind. Recently it's started simply crashing a lot. However, I solved this problem by turning the hardware acceleration on my computer down to near the minimum. This makes Poser much more stable. Why it only recently started needing this, I have no idea. But perhaps it might help with your problem too.

Files corrupting themselves eh? Sounds suspicious, if ya ask me. You are a theologian, and great Poser creators end up having almost religious cults of fans.. Do you think there is a connection? Cos, most religions preach there is another side, the Dark Side..

Are we doomed? Will the units and LH`s take our souls? I demand a re-count! How could I not be elected president again, I`m the only person in here!
