Quick question: if you enter the world builder during a game and exit back to game, does it reduce your score at the end or mark it in hall of fame as a "cheat score" sort of like waaay back in Civ2 cheatmode?

I don't think that it does. I gave myself a modern armor in 4000 BC and I don't remember anything different about it in the hall of fame.
