Interesting map. On my first try I changed to Democracy ASAP and never left the home island and kept accumulating knowledge. Not smart. Somehow 1 or 2 other civs were keeping pace with me.

2nd try I conquered the world in 1400 AD via Despotic Conquest, receiving a 121% rating. I built very few Wonders, I only built them on the home island while my other cities just poured out Knights and Cannons. At around 1000 AD I was having to increase my taxes over 50% so I just kicked it to 100% and stopped accumulating knowledge (I had everything I needed short of Armor and Bombers at that point). Took a long time to win because it took forever to find the last 2 civs (who were reborn from the 1st 2 I knocked out)... sneaky designing there.

Anyway, what must I do to make an official submission? Upload the saved game 1 turn before victory, and the Replay as well? Also I may have discovered a bug and asked you about it in private. Private because if it were a deliberate feature I don't want to tip anyone else off :)

That is correct :)

Sorry for the late reply. Why as nobody else answered this question?

Posting your score here was enough this time though. Please see the 'Hall of fame' thread for the offisial results:
