Welcome to [civilization name]'s first periodical. This will serve to help newcomers as well as regulars who've been on a break get caught up on all the current demogame happenings. For a more detailed log of all the demogame happenings, you might want to check a history thread (not created yet.) All criticisms, suggestions and discussion is welcome here. As of right now the periodical will not be updated on a regular, set basis, although in the future it is likely to.

To write for this paper, you may post or pm your article to me.

Published Volumes:
Volume 1 (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=5062703&postcount=2)
Volume 2 (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=5081583&postcount=17)
Volume 3 (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=5136577&postcount=34)

The first issue is a little short, and is just a preview of what the paper will look like. Please also note that the majority of the articles will not contain any role playing, as it is hard to role play during the pre-game discussion. So articles may tend to be a little drab for the time being.

Here is the first issue:

You should add extracts from the threads if you want to make the first one bigger.

You should add extracts from the threads if you want to make the first one bigger. I was thinking of doing that, but that first issue was pretty rushed, as I was pressed for time, and I wanted to get it finished. The newspaper will read a lot nicer in the future, especially once the demogame actually starts.

Possible, probably will, to reflect the time period. The background might also change to reflect time periods.

Thanks. I'll be sure to upkeep this newspaper. All contributions to the paper are welcome (tonyf12 already sent me a full page story ;) )

The next edition will come out Thursday night (EST time) or Saturday during the day (est time.) I won't be home from Thursday morning until Saturday morning/afternoon (and at that point I might just crash.)

Love the fashion section. Another good job though this seems to be turning into a bit of a political rag. We may need another rag to counter the slight slant seen here.

Remember you promised to keep this going even if you take office!

My articles have no slant. Articles that pertain to me or issues that I feel strongly about, are written by other people. :)

And yes I do plan to continue the paper, even if I get elected.

Not that I'm going to, but I feel like nagging...

Anyway, ice24k, if you don't have time to write articles you can always ask!

ice2k4

Writing the articles doesn't take as much time as the gruesome job of formatting does. Either way I do not plan to run for any office next term, and I will be dedicating much of my time to this paper. The paper has been on my mind lately, and I do realize that I didn't keep my promise of keeping it up while being chieftain (sorry guys.)

Do look forward to a mega issue soon.
