Hello guys, first post, first question!

After updating to the 1.61 patch, I am now limited to 10 turns even after setting the game to marathon. Anyone else run into this problem before? Thanks for the help.

The 1.61 patch has an anti-piracy measure which limits the game to 10 turns. Use a legal executable copy of the game, ie. the CD.
