I receive this error message when installing my game:

Feature: Defualt Feature
Component: Civ4Component
File: E:\data2.cab
Error: Data Error (cylic redundancy check).

What's the problem?

I get the exact same message. Someone please help!

bad disc. you should be able to exchange it for same at the retailer.

Um...but i have had the game for 1 year, highly doubt the retailer will take it bak.

Um...but i have had the game for 1 year, highly doubt the retailer will take it bak.And I doubt they will either. Clean your disc and it may work. There are posts here or googled that talk about repair. There are also devices you can buy that can work to make the disc readable again, but there's no guarantee it will install.
