You still have time for WOTM5 till Feb 15, and new saves will not be available before the finish of previous tourny.

Hopefully we will get the starting info soon. I like to get a practice game in. Many thanks to the team who make these gotm's possible. :)

Lol. I know. Unfortunately I can't take three days off work!!

Anyway today I see there's pre-game discussion. That'll keep me going now!!!

Thanks..

Presumably you work 8 hours a day. That makes 24 hours out of the next 3 days (72 hours) leaving 48 hours during the next 3 days for civ playing, no? :mischief:

ok, so 2 hours a day for eating and 6 per day for sleeping(after all, no one who plays civ sleeps more than that, right ;)) that's still 16 hours or so to play the game :) Plenty of time!

or better yet, play while you eat ;)

I wish! Between my wife, my job, my schoolwork, and my gaming, I'm lucky to get 5 per day...although I can generally average about 6 hours per night each week...unfortunately the nights I get 8 or 9 hours of sleep don't make me feel any better when i only get 2 or 3 hours a few days later...

Maybe your gaming is getting in the way of the rest of your life. See game addiction (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_addiction) at wikipedia. ;)

note the fact I put gaming last on that list ;) I only use it recreationally :p
that is highlighted by the fact I wasn't able to submit GOTM13, 14, or WOTM4

Strange. I went to that link expecting to see something about people who are unable to devote sufficient time to their gaming, due to their addiction to real life and to the withdrawal symptons they get if they don't keep spending time with their friends and family and children etc, maybe even some links to places where such people could get help. But the text in the wikipedia entry didn't seem to be like that at all. It's almost as if whoever wrote it accidentally got everything completely the wrong way round. :mischief:
