hi
i loaded an autosave in "direct ip connection" mode. someone connects to my game and gets "The save file you have selected is protected to ensure that the assets in your mod folder have not been changed" all the time

i set an admin password for that game earlier

what is wrong? shouldnt i have set the admin password? if yes, how do i remove it?

i guessed admin passwords are there to to make sure people dont load mp saves in hotseat or something.

more of a workaround than a fix:
i opened the game in hot seat mode, removed the password and saved it again
after that procedure i could continue with the game in simultaneous mp as usual

EDIT: crap, that converted the game to sequential multiplayer, so no simultaneous turns anymore :/

EDIT:
(not perfect) workaround around the problems with the workaround:
open the game in "Direct IP connection", click ready, dont wait for players and just click "Launch".
then, when asked for your vote on how to continue, click "save and continue playing"
that will replace the other player(s) by AI and you can remove the admin password and have them join back or you can just save the game
