Every time my friend and I play a LAN'd game Civ 4 will randomly at some point crash to desktop. Just like that. No errors or anything. Then when we try to go back and load the last auto-save file, it just does the same thing (only it won't even load into the map).

I've read around on the forums and it looks like there's already a bazillion posts on this but I was just wondering if it's still a big issue? We're using the 1.61 patches and no-cd crack's. This is ridiculous we can't even play the damn game and Firaxis seems to be ignoring it. Is there any news or info I missed?
