So basically the title says it all... I searched all 32 pages of the fix-it thread and many pages of the tech help forum on this and other sites and although i have seen the question asked a couple of times, it has never been addressed. My computer is above min spec and i have tried installing new vid drivers... i also tried uninstalling, using a cleaner for the registry and reinstalling from a cdrom drive that is not a writer... i have also tried creating another account for my computer (i have xp) with admin priviledges and running from that one and that didn't help... when i installed it, it automatically got the patch and i installed that as well... I want to cry I am so frustrated :sad: I know the discs are good cause i have installed it on my other home computer with no problems... I have attached the dxdiag although I am not sure it will help, I just wanted to make sure that i covered all of the recommended bases

If anyone can help me I would super appreciate it... I have tried to help myself to no avail... Thanks in advance to any who spend their time on my problem!

i have also manually added the builtin admin account to the welcome page and logged in as the administrator and it still gives the same message!!
