i have nominated myself and i just wonder how much power will the elder have, because deicisions wil be taken above the elder, would they have any influncence on policies concerning their city, would they have a veto (ps not asking for one!)? :confused:

Please check out the initiative outlined in this poll (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=207890). It looks like it is well on its way to passing.

Basically, the Elder would have complete control over the city he runs. You would want to make sure to hold discussions and/or poll more weighty decisions or you could run the risk of a coup (this is also based on the passage of the aforementioned initiative, of course.)
